In all likelihood, Oscar, some witch’s familiar, will–at its own death–go the way of Roy Roger’s Trigger and Bullet. Yes, suspended unanimation through the miracle of taxidermy. (Dale, thankfully, outlived Roy.) Oscar may then continue to herald death by somehow “just showing up” on the bedside stand of the next soon-to-take-the-Big-Ride oldster.
Sequels, Mr. Marshall–as far as the cat’s eye can curse.
