What’s even more scary is the number of people out there who hold the same belief, and think evolution truly means “monkeys turning into humans.” I majored in human biology as an undergrad, and have encountered sentiments like that many, many times. Unfortunately I do not think the general U.S. population will ever have a true grasp on the theory of evolution.

When they are like 14, push them off the roof. If they DON’T fly, well clearly someone screwed up and told them they couldn’t. It’s my assertion that we CAN fly, were it not for the neigh sayers. So far, no one will take me up on this offer. Come on, it’s for science people! It’s a win-win, either you have a flying teenager, or you get to push your obnoxious teen off a roof.
