The reason most people on those panels couldn’t keep up with him is because he was such an intelligent person.

You could hear how intelligent he was in his routine. Even though he could be a little crude and certainly biting, he was always one of, if not the smartest person in the room.

This is really sad. I know he was well respected among the standup community and that this is a major loss for them.

I liked his insult-style humor and hope that alot of his routines live on via the internet and other media.

I was saddened to hear this, he was a great comic. It seems a lot of talented people have real stong demons they battle, maybe it’s a trade off.
I have worked in pharmacies for 25 years, presciption drug addiction is a huge and under reported happening. If you struggle with this seek help, as Kevin said. Thanks for the link above.
