In fairness, I said that the book sort of makes you sympathize with Jay. Because it really does, but more in the sense that this guy’s pathological and was, in some ways, also a victim of a really terrible programming choice. But it also reinforces everything we think about Conan (especially that he’s sincere to a fault for the TV business).

If you get a chance, definitely give it a read. If you haven’t already.
