It should be available on both, Roger, though once upon a time it was hard to find. If you like it, I also recommend Robert Fripp's "Exposure" reissue, which has all the tracks that Hall originally sang on it, but were scrapped by record label bigwigs, at which point Terre Roche and Peter Hammill were drafted in to sing lead vocals on many of them. It was meant to be a companion piece to "Sacred Songs" (the one issued under Hall's name), with Peter Gabriel's second album ("Scratch") as a third leg of a related series of works. Fripp, Hall, Levin and Jerry Marotta were planning to form a band together, but Hall was bound by contract to Hall & Oates and was unable to do it . . . woulda coulda shoulda been one of the greatest bands ever.

I LOVED Prometheus. I really, really loved it, but I loved all the Alien movies.

Quick quiz for "Will you love Prometheus?":

(1) Did you love the original two Alien movies? Really, or are you just saying that because they're "a thing you're supposed to like" now?

(2) Did you like the other Alien movies, not Alien and Aliens? Even the one where Sigourney Weaver plays basketball?

(3) Do you like Giger? I mean, do you actually like Giger and can pick his art out of a lineup?

If the answer is "Yes, I loved Alien and Aliens; I liked the other Alien movies and can name the one where Sigourney Weaver plays basketball; and I love Giger with his visual Freudian Rorschach games, then you will love Prometheus.

And I totally disagree that it was pseudointellectual. I don't even know where that's coming from.

Daryl and John had a KICK ASS live band in those early '80s days . . . G.E. Smith, John Siegler (Utopia) and T-Bone Wolk on bass, Jerry Marotta on drums, Charlie DeChant on keys and reeds. Really, really good. And Hall's album with Robert Fripp is an honest-to-God masterpiece, one of my all-time faves.

I'm with you on Iron and Wine and the Flaming Lips, though. DO. NOT. LIKE!!!!!

"Sure, the dialogue was garbage and the character constructs were pretty lazy... It also seems like it’s trying too hard to prove to you how smart it is." Isn't that enough of a reason to hate a movie? I have no opinion, not having seen it, but those seem like good reasons for disliking it, even if the future ex-Charlize Marshall is great in it.

On another matter, I like much of Hall & Oates, in the mid-70s, not so much in the late '70s, but again in the early '80s. Without irony.
