Still, I&#039;m interested to see the Fight Metrics in terms of hits landed. It seemed to me from watching it that Machida didn&#039;t have much more than a slight edge in strikes landed in either of the first two rounds. If Machida overwhelmed Jackson and landed a significant greater number of strikes, then yes, I&#039;d totally agree. That&#039;s not how I saw it, though.

Maybe I need to watch that fight again, because I felt the only round Machida had the edge in grappling was the third.</description>

		<description>I respectfully disagree.  Although you are right- those are the criteria...they are certainly not equal when it comes to scoring.  A higher number of clean strikes vastly outweighs octagon control and aggression which make up avery small amount.  While Rampage clearly was the aggressor and controlled the octagon, he did not land as many strikes as Machida.  I don&#039;t think that Rampage was the better grappler in any round.  I had it for Machida, but it could have easily been a draw.</description>
