Old Glory on Broadway, Rocking on the River and More

Hey folks! Few quick notes before I venture off on what’s going to be a busy weekend that includes more software upgrade tasks at work, a very good friend of mine becoming ordained as a priest, singing with fellow TU bloggers, and much more.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the Old Glory on Broadway Block Party. The event kicks off at noon and runs until 6pm and will feature a beer garden, food from local businesses, a stage with live music, and much much more. So go check it out!

The winner of the opening band for Rocking on the River will be announced Monday, June 14th, at 10:30am. The announcement will be made at Ryan’s Wake, followed by the band playing two songs from their recent CDs. And no, I don’t know who won.

Check out both events! Also, be on the lookout for me in Albany on Sunday as I’ll be taking part in the Gay Pride Parade which is set to kick off Sunday at 11:00am.
