Natasha Vargas-Cooper’s been Tumblin’ (is that a thing people say? fuck you, it is now) about the Woodstock ‘99 riots.

I knew someone whose cousin was killed on her way back from the festival. Don’t remember the details, but she was hit by a car and was presumably really out of it and, IIRC, suspected to be a victim of the violence beforehand.

This was a really awful time for music that people don’t put enough energy into remembering.
