Comedy Benefit Tonight featuring TU Bloggers!

Tonight, a fellow Times Union blogger hosts a comedy benefit to benefit with all proceeds going to Tess Collins and the staff at Lark Tavern.

Comedienne Bernadette Pauley and others will perform tonight at The Linda to benefit Tess's Lark Tavern.

“Laughs for Lark Tavern” will take place tonight (Wednesday, June 2nd) at WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio, The Linda (339 Central Ave., Albany). Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15.

Greg Aidala, who posts for the TU’s “The Funnies” blog, is hosting. I met Greg at last month’s “Baseball and Bloggers” event, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer and friendlier guy than him.

Featured at the event: Bernadette Pauley (who has appeared on Comedy Central and VH1), Clayton Fletcher (from “Sexy and the City” as well as MTV), The Knuckleheads (comedic guitar duo), and Dave Cox (as seen on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and that trainwreck of a show that Jay Leno hosts).

Also making special appearances will be WNYT’s Benita Zahn and 103.1’s Jason Keller.
