Fr. Matt Featured in the TU (again)

I somehow missed the inclusion of my good friend Fr. Matt in a Times Union article about him and being part of the largest ordination the church has seen in years. I just had it sent to me; earlier in the day someone had mentioned it in the comments, but I thought they were alluding to a previous blog post.

Go and check it out. It’s a really nice piece about Matt and the other men who were ordained last month, and it goes into how this was the largest class they’ve had in quite some time, as the number of ordinations has dropped over the last thirty years.

As I wrote before, I lived with Matt for a year and have been proud to call him a friend ever since. You won’t meet better people, and his parish is all the better for having him.
