CNN has unveiled the name, co-host, and premiere date for their new program featuring Elliot Spitzer.

“Parker Spitzer” premieres October 4th.

Kathleen Parker is a provocative and controversial Pulitzer Prize winning columnist and published author with a Master’s Degree in Spanish Literature who markets herself as a rational Conservative and, to date, has not had unprotected sex from a prostitute. Eliot Spitzer, of course, we all know as the former Attorney General and Governor of our great State that totally had unprotected sex with a prostitute.

I’m a bit disappointed by the name. It seems a bit uninspired, no?

They also missed an opportunity by not flipping it to “Spitzer Parker,” with the tagline “nobody comes before Eliot Spitzer!” Which I hear is something he would yell out while having unprotected sex with prostitutes.

No word on the exact format or what sort of segments it’ll feature. Know what’d be awesome, though? If they had a segment where Spitzer took a few minutes each night to call up Jim Tedisco and scream at him.

    Other possible names:
    Spitzer: Ethics Schmethics
    Spitzer: Unleashed
Spitzer:Over compensating for having the name Elliot.

  2. Dan says:

So tacky that that man would even show his face on TV. Who would listen to such a two-faced lier?

  3. countrygirl says:

Dan–glad I’m not the only one who thinks this is icky; what is that woman thinking of sitting next to him on national TV?

  4. A couple of other good names: “Titanic,” “Hindenberg,” and “Slow, Lonely Death.”

In the above promo, even Parker jokes about calling it “The Spitzer Factor.” Whatever you think about O’Reilly, he’s tough to beat.

  5. Will King says:

Spitzer & Parker: We’ll Blow Your Mind

  6. Chuck Miller says:

If nothing else, it will give us all a chance to dust off the old 2008 Spitzer Client 9 jokes and re-use them… he he he he he he he…
