Where Have I Seen “Happy Carl Paladino” Before?
Over on the OTE blog, Kristi Gustafson observed that Carl Paladino’s eyes looked sad and that he needed a makeover.
The comment was in regards to the dark circles under his eyes and other physical attributes that made him look…uh…unpretty, I guess.
Anyway, This is College?! blogger & TU intern Erin Morelli did some photoshopping to see what Carl Paladino would look like if someone took him out to get his eyes, hair and nails did:
On the left is Carl Paladino. On the right is Carl Paladino with a makeover.
This blows the lid off one of the best-kept secrets in New York State politics: that Carl Paladino is, in fact, character acter Dave Madden, best known as Reuben Kincaid from “The Partridge Family.”
Hello worrrrld
There’s a soooooooong that we’re singin’…
C’MON GET HAPPYYYYYYYYY
And now, a clip from the episode of “The Patridge Family” where Danny Partridge and Michael Caputo conspire to find a wife for lonely, sad Carl:
I have no idea who the woman is, but Fred Dicker probably does.

This is seriously one of your funniest posts! As someone old enough to know the words to all Partridge Family songs, thanks for the walk down memory lane! Brillant and funny!
Well, if Susan Dey has ANYTHING AT ALL to do with Carl/Dave’s administration, I am moving back to NY and voting for him. Some crushes never die, baby.
Gman woke up in love this morning.
You do realize that you are seriously insulting Dave Madden, don’t you? He’s nicer than that.
Paladino far more desperately needs his black heart made over. (Well, someone had to say it.)
