Hey folks!

Tomorrow’s the big day. Mockingbird Marathon: To Kill a Saturday is tomorrow at the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza.

The event, as you all know, is being held to raise funds and awareness for Literacy NY of the Greater Capital Region. We’ll be accepting cash and check donations as the event, and you can also donate online here.

In addition we’re going to have a raffle with a great number of prizes, with all proceeds going towards Literacy NY of the Greater Capital Region.

The prizes include:

Thanks to all the businesses above for donating for a very worthy cause. Also to WEXT, Friday Puppy, and all the other organizations that have helped spread the word for this wonderful event.

Which is tomorrow! Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza! Go check it out or you’re dead to me!

  1. Chuck Miller says:

In addition to the prizes available at the raffle, I’ve donated a framed copy of my award-winning “Lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove” to the prize list.

  2. Roger Green says:

    I plugged it again myself.

  3. Jen says:

I’ve mentioned it but no one I know is interested (some have better things to do, others have no interest whatsoever). Color me surprised if anyone I know shows up :)

  4. lnm says:

Jen, your friends may have other things to do, but perhaps not better. Me, I plan to stop by for a while, enjoy the reading and make a donation.

  5. Devon says:

I’d (allegedly) been offered as a volunteer reader through my employer. No one got back to me. Hope it’s fun and well (enough) attended; sounded great and love the book!

  6. Devon – since this is the first I’m hearing of it, I think your employer might have been a bit confused.

  7. Devon says:

Fair enough and too late either way, I’d suspect.
