One of my loyal readers is far braver than I: she’s running in the Santo Speedo Sprint this Saturday to help raise funds for the Albany  Albany Damien Center.

Here’s the thing: without giving out any numbers, there are a LOT of you that read this on a regular basis. Even I’m surprised when I look at the numbers sometimes. And if all of us just contribute a tiny bit, with little to no sacrifice to ourselves, we can make a huge impact.

So again, I challenge every single one of you reading this: donate just $5 by Friday evening and we’ll help our reader reach her goal of $500.
