I played Lucinda Willliams yesterday in your honor.
Wow, same days as Uecker…
“I knew when my career was over. In 1965 my baseball card came out with no picture.” :o) hahahahaha
Happy B’lated B’Day…
Thanks!
And that’s one of my favorite Uecker quotes.
You share a birth date with a great mix of talent. Lucinda Williams is 58? Lord have mercy.
Happy birthday. I follow your blog and Twitter feed, and always enjoy your observations and thoughts (except for the mixed martial arts stuff that is outside my realm of understanding). Hoping much happiness and prosperity comes your way in the next year.
Thanks!
Did I ever tell you that I met Anita Baker? She was performing at the Palace, and my friend Karen introduced us, She took us backstage, and who should be back there but Mike Tyson and Jack Nicholson. Jack was in town filming Ironweed. Lots of photos, but, of course, *I* didn’t even try to get one past the Palace security.
