I know, it’s an awful show, but I just couldn’t look away. If anything, I think that the folks on this were more than a little misguided, but ultimately harmless. Hell, honestly? I even grew to like some of them.
One of the cast members, DJ Pauly D (who billed himself as “Rhode Island’s #1 DJ” – kinda like saying you spit the phattest rhymes in Schenectady County), was set to perform May 8th at Plastic Nightclub in Albany.
According to a Facebook message I just received, that’s not happening because he’ll be filming “Jersey Shore: Miami” for MTV.

…admittedly, I’m only posting this to see whose PR person contacts me first. Also, I’m too lazy to look it up, but I wasn’t sure if word was out that they were using the original cast (or at least some of them) for the second season. Well they are.
So sleep tight, kiddos. You’ll get your Pauly D fix one way or another.

This show was one of my guilty pleasures too, by proxy of my wife. Basically I had no other options (because b*tching & complaining didn’t have the desired effect).
