  1. Will King says:

Showtime/CBS picking up the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley PPV. This could be the beginning of something really good (the CBS involvement, that is).

    Showtime/CBS get Pacquiao-Mosley

    • Now we just have to convince people that they want to see this fight. They’re basically going to have to ignore the fact that…well, Shane Mosley is fighting Manny freaking Pacquaio.

  2. Will King says:

Trying to look at this as positively as I can, Shane Mosley has enough ‘name’ recognition among general fans and Manny Pacquiao has started to transend the sport, even just slightly.

I’m just hoping against hope that Mosley can muster up that ‘one last fight’ that HOF caliber fighters do from time to time. Really the fight just needs to be competitive and have some flash.

The layman will need that to feel invested enough to watch the next time. If the fight is a dud (i.e. Manny beats the crap out of Shane) then it’s all moot and the broadcast TV experiment will be shelved once again.

Roller Derby bout tomorrow evening at the Armory too!

@Will King: I admire your love of boxing, as that was the most positive spin I’ve read on a -$750 underdog probably ever. Lets hope Sugar Shane pulls through.

P.S. Elvis was pretty buff back in the day!!!

  5. Megan Willis says:

Long damn week indeed. Possibly. The Longest. Ever.

  6. Will King says:

u2 – Sometimes you have to think glass half full, even if it’s really half empty (or more!).

  7. Thanks for promoting our TeenV episode!
