So about the name of my blog…

Currently, it’s “Kevin Marshall: In the Present Tense.” When I thought of it, I thought it was clever, even if it didn’t mean anything. I always liked the phrase “present tense,” and with it being a running commentary on life, society and culture, I thought it fitting.

But it’s also kinda sucky.

So last week, I put out a call to make suggestions. I’ve taken them and put them in a poll. Now, I won’t say that I’ll definitely go with the winner, since I know there’s jerks out there that will write programs to cheat the system and pick their favorite even if it’s not the best possible name. This is more for my own personal feedback, so that I don’t say go with a(nother) wildly unpopular name.

So guys, vote for what you think my blog’s new name should be. And if you have any additional suggestions, please, feel free to share them.

Kevin Marshall – I was born a ramblin’ man.

Why does it even need a name? I think we get ‘Kevin Marshall’? I think you’re too cool for a title anyway :)

  4. Tony Barbaro says:

last minute entry….I’m too Sexy for this Blog

  5. I like Jerry’s, but I’d modify it to Kevin Marshall: Ramblin’ Man.

    How about something original?

  10. Stephanie says:

I vote for “I didn’t get this sexy by accident”, however, in a city as small as ours 6 degrees is often so true, sometimes in a bad way…usually in a bad way. Like when all 6 degrees walk in to the bar at the same time and your like “oh crap”

I agree with some of the comments Kevin Marshall kind of fits too, your making it a brand kind of.

  11. JQP says:

Kevin Marshall: Man of an indefinite age.

Bonus: I looked in the thesaurus to see what the antonyms of “certain” are. One of them is “groping”.

Kevin Marshall: Man of groping age.

  12. KC Orcutt says:

pardon my bias, but I think Jerry’s idea is great :)
